My husband does martial arts on a gross mat five days a week with a bunch of other sweaty people. He doesn’t like most facial cleansers as they don’t feel like they clean enough and he’s prone to rashes and whatnot, so he uses a bar soap. He gets these bumps on his cheeks that aren’t pimples; just little bumps that occasionally have some redness around them.He says he likes the feel of this face wash and while he initially felt like it wasn’t cleaning well enough, his skin is looking better and more smooth, so it’s definitely doing something. He says it doesn’t smell too strong and he’s going to stop using the bar soap on his face now that he has this.This is honestly expensive for such a small bottle, but it’s a fantastic product for sweaty men.

I've been struggling with some redness on my face for some time. I don't know whether it's razor burn or what, but no matter what I've tried, nothing seems to have worked. From pre-shave balm, to various aftershave, face wash, etc. hydrocortisone, etc. nothing has worked. I've never heard of Outbound Apothecary, but heard about them on some social media videos and decided to give it a try.It comes in the little black box as shown. I admit, I'd totally even forgotten this was something, and I'd ordered another health care product and was a little confused when I received this. The packaging looks nice, and, I wanted to try to unscrew it to see how it smelled. Not the easiest thing. To dispense, you push down on the top, and it pops up and allows you to have the clear gel come out. Note there is a little pull tab thing you have to take off that has perforations before you're able to do so.The instructions say to lather for about 20-30 seconds. The next day, after receiving, I decided to use it in the shower. The instructions say to use after a workout, a long day, etc. I'd actually been out mowing the lawn and doing some other yard work, so kinda did a "workout" of sorts in my mind. The gel lathers up pretty nicely in the shower, and felt good on my face.The biggest surprise for me, after merely a few days, the redness on my face has started to lessen. I've not seen my skin like this on my cheeks in a long time. Like I said, no matter what I've tried, from different razors to after shave, face washes, etc. nothing seemed to help. I don't know what this has to make any difference, but I've been extremely thrilled with the results so far. My skin feels the nicest it has in a long time. I got this moisturizer for my husband and he loves it! It’s lightweight and doesn’t leave behind any sticky or greasy residue. The scent is light and yummy! It does a great job moisturizing his face after a long day outside working or just as an everyday moisturizer. He has pretty sensitive skin, too, and this product doesn’t cause any sort of irritation after applying. Although it is a little on the pricey side, it’s definitely worth it for the quality of the product! A little bit goes a long way as well, so this 1.7oz bottle should last for quite a while. Bonus points for being on the cleaner side as far as ingredients go! We’ll definitely be getting more once this bottle finally runs out!

I was hoping my husband would like this after shaving but it was a no go for him (he didn't care for the scent) but that's okay with me as I might use it (I like the scent). The scent I pick up on the most is the rosemary, I don't really notice the rest. I won't use it on my face but chest and arms. It's not greasy and applies nicely but the only reason for the 4 stars is both of us thought it felt drying (not horribly so just a tad).

I’m not sure what I was expecting with this but I’m pleasantly surprised with it!It did take a couple of pumps to get it going, but that’s the reasoning with the specific component it’s in. So don’t give up if it’s not pumping!It does have a light herbal scent which I’m really loving! Can’t really pinpoint it.It does hydrate really nicely, as in my face doesn’t feel dry after using, but I’m not left looking greasy. It also absorbs really quickly into the skin!I’m very impressed

First skin protocol, takes less than 5 minutes a day, very accessible.

A great cleanser for daily use, does a great job rebalancing skin that takes a beating. Clears out oil and dirt like nothing else!

So far I’m pretty happy with this face wash. It lathers well without getting too soapy and it easily rinses off. I think the consistency is just right. The scent is pretty neutral, just a nice clean smell. I’ve used it a handful of times now and am pretty well pleased. It does a good job cleaning and not drying out my skin. If you’re used to a scrub or something that cleanses with grit this isn’t it, but it’s a good milder face wash. The price is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. It does have good ingredients, but still seems a bit pricey for the size bottle.

I have only used off the shelf products for my skin care and never had any real significant results. I bought these products together and only use them every other day or after a long working day outside. These products used together are a game changer, truly great products. My wife really likes the scent as well so that's a plus.
